Double Sickle Trimmer

Double sickle trimmers are very light weight (aluminum bars) and can trim at speeds up to 6 MPH.  They can be configured into many trimming configurations with a simple wrench type setting. At Acampo Machine Works we start out with a hydraulic up and down frame and install a set of manual adjusted cross tubes. These are for adjusting the bars in and out as well as any angle adjustment requirements. We will then mount the various trimmer bars onto the cross tubes. There are 3 ft., 4 ft., and 5 ft. bars available.

Units are built per customer specifications with stocked parts. But we keep a high level of stock on this style of trimmer so turnaround time from ordering is minimal. Units generally run off the tractor hydraulic systems keeping the 3 point and rear hitch available to perform other operations.
