Barrel Style

Barrel style pre-pruners have two vertical shafts with multiple blades. These mandrels are opened around the grape stake and closed once in the row. They are designed to have the lifting wires feed thru the blades. Our Collard barrel pruner has an electro sensing unit that senses the grape stake and opens automatically. You can also open manually. Units will mulch up the prunings and are very easy to operate.
